2011 Announcement of Availability of Funds for One Cooperative Agreement to Publish Public Health Reports: The Office of the Surgeon General (OSG)/Office of Science and Communications (OSC) announce the availability of approximately $1.00 of Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 funds to support the publication of Public Health Reports (PHR). The primary source of funding for this cooperative agreement comes from subscription fees from individual and institutional subscribers. This cooperative agreement is intended to establish a mechanism for the cooperative agreement recipient to serve as the sole publisher of the peer-reviewed journal PHR, the oldest continuously published public health journal in the world. PHR brings important research and discussion of key issues to the public health community. Six regular issues are published per year, and each issue examines subject matter necessary to understand the issues of public health and disease prevention in the U.S. and globally.
